Workshop on SME
Policies, Laws and Regulations
We are pleased to inform you that the Small and Medium Enterprise for Sustainable
Employment Program (SMEDSEP), a technical cooperation program of the German
Technical Cooperation Agency (GTZ), the DTI and TESDA, will hold a workshop
on SME Policies, Laws and Regulations on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at the Manila Diamond
Hotel, Roxaxs Blvd. cor Dr. J. Quintos St. Manila at 8:30 AM to 1 PM.
The event is aimed at providing a platform
to validate and discuss the significant policies and regulations affecting SMEs in the Philippines,
as well as come up with program milestones by which SMEDSEP will be guided in its pursuit
to support reforms in SME policies and regulations at the national, provincial and city levels.
Because we value your views about SMe development in the Philippines, we would like to invite you
to participate in this workshop.
For this event, we are privileged to have as a main resource
person Mr. Simon White, a much sought-after international consultant who has an extensive
experience in assisting international agencies, national and local governments in designing
and implementing policies, programs and projects for promoting employment, enterprise
and economic development.
