Mobile Robot (MOBOT) Final Races and Awarding
of MADC Open Design Category
EIAPI is invited to witness
the Mobile Robot (MOBOT) Final Races and Awarding of MADC Open Design Category winners
on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the Gameworx, 4th level of the Festival
Mall in Alabang, Muntinlupa City from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

the microdesigncontest Yahoo! group.). This activity is the culmination of events
features in the Microcontroller Applications Design Competitions
(MADC), now on its 4th year.
The MADC is a test
of engineering and design skill that is open to all undergraduate students
and is organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE)
Philippines Section and ZiLOG Electronics Philippines Inc.
The contest has two categories: an open design contest where students design a useful
device around a ZILOG microcontroller, and a mobot race where students design a small battery
powered vehicle controlled by a ZILOG chip to autonomously navigate a track.
