The Electronic Industries Association of the Philippines, Inc. (EIAPI) was established in 1985 by a group of local manufacturers to promote the growth of the local electronics industry by enabling members to develop and market globally competitive electronic products and services.At present, EIAPI consists of fifty organizations that include robust small-to-medium scale enterprises, leading academic institutions, individual business ventures, and organizations from allied industries.
EIAPI aspires toward providing members with a venue to shape the future of the Philippine electronics industry by encouraging dialogues among the stakeholders within the electronic industry. The Association serves as the collective voice of its members particularly in articulating common issues and concerns to relevant government agencies and institutions in order to facilitate the formulation of policies that would foster the growth of the local electronics industry.
To encourage the global competitiveness of its SME members, EIAPI conducts trainings, and technical seminars on a variety of topics, aimed at enhancing the member's technical and management expertise as well as providing opportunities whereby members may be able to broaden their local and global market base. The Association maintains continuous interaction among members through periodic membership meetings and the establishment of linkages with the academe and government.
